Legislation Update

The Endocrine Alliance celebrates Senate passage of the historic legislation on insulin affordability for Medicare beneficiaries. The climate, deficit reduction, and health care bill now head to the House, where it is expected to pass by the end of the week.

We are grateful to the Senators who helped advance this legislation for our Medicare patients. The Senate missed an important opportunity to also help children and adults with diabetes with private health insurance. We will continue to advocate and work with Congress to make insulin affordable for all.
