Why Join?

As a member, you will be kept at the cutting edge of your field. You will be sent regular updates, given access to informative educational events, provided with a membership directory to keep in touch with colleagues, and offered special registration fees for meetings and educational events.

It is an excellent way to meet other people working in the same field and to help exchange knowledge and ideas.

Membership Category Requirements

Physician Membership

The qualifications for admission to active membership in the Ohio River Region Society of Endocrinology shall require that the applicant be a physician (MD, DO, or foreign equivalent) who has an active, unencumbered license to practice medicine in the United States and is engaged, at least 50 percent (50%) of their work time, in the treatment of patients with, or involved in research or educational activities relating to, endocrine disease.  Each active member shall have the right to vote and serve on committees so long as the member remains in good standing.

Associate Healthcare Membership

The qualifications for admission to associate healthcare membership in the Ohio River Region Society of Endocrinology shall require that the applicant be a healthcare professional in good standing (NP, PA, RD, PharmD, PhD, CDCES) who is actively engaged in least 50 percent (50%) of their work time, in the treatment of patients with, or involved in research or educational activities relating to endocrine disease.  Associate healthcare members may NOT serve as Directors and Officers of the society or have the right to vote; but may serve on the committees of the society.

Trainee/Early Career Membership

The qualifications for admission to trainee/early career membership in the Ohio River Region Society of Endocrinology shall require that a physician be enrolled in a postgraduate training program for treatment or investigation of endocrine disease. Associate members may vote, hold office, be a director and may serve on committees. Each active member shall have the right to vote, hold office, be a director, and serve on committees so long as the member remains in good standing.

Retired/Emeritus Membership

The qualifications for admission to retired/emeritus membership in the Ohio River Region Society of Endocrinology shall require active members who have reached age 68 and have retired from practice and who have held continuous membership in good standing. Emeritus members pay no dues but retain all rights to active membership.
