Why Join?

As a member, you will be kept at the cutting edge of your field. You will be sent regular updates, given access to informative educational events, provided with a membership directory to keep in touch with colleagues, and offered special registration fees for meetings and educational events.

It is an excellent way to meet other people working in the same field and to help exchange knowledge and ideas.

Membership Category Requirements

Active Physician Members

$100 Annual Dues (Includes registration to TXEA Annual Meeting)

All persons who are Board-Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, Pediatric Endocrinology, Endocrine Surgeon, or an endocrine-related field and licensed in the state of Texas shall be eligible to become a Physician member of the organization. Each Active Physician Member shall have the right to vote, hold office, be a director, and serve on committees so long as the member remains in good standing.

Associate Members

Physicians that are enrolled in a post-graduate training program for treatment, surgery, or investigation of endocrine disease in the state of Texas shall be eligible to become an Associate Member of the organization. Each Associate Member (Fellow) shall have the right to vote and may serve on committees so long as the member remains in good standing.

Retired Members

Physicians must have reached the age of 60 and be retired from clinical practice, but otherwise qualified for active membership in the Association within the previous five (5) years to become a Retired Member of the organization. Each Retired Member may vote, hold office, be directors and serve on committees so long as the member remains in good standing.

Affiliate Members

All persons residing in, treating patients in, or involved in research in Texas who are medical students, residents, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, PhD, PharmD, CDCES or others viewed by the board as benefiting from the educational mission of TXEA are eligible to become Affiliate Members of TXEA. Such members will be eligible to vote, but not hold office, be a director, nor serve on committees.
